Touring Edition Exhaust:

The Touring Edition is a full 3” straight-through stainless steel catback configuration capable of delivering optimal power while remaining drone-free throughout the entire rev range. Featuring a precision-engineered H-pipe and AWE’s patented drone-canceling solution, 180 Technology®, the Touring Edition delivers deep, rich exhaust notes that coax anyone in your lane to move out of the way.

As exhaust gases exit the HEMI engine and flow into an AWE 180 Technology® equipped resonator, they pass through strategically located ports, and into reflection chambers. Sound waves, carried by these exhaust gasses, bounce off the walls of the reflection chambers. By controlling the size and location of the ports and the chambers, we also control when the sound waves exit the chambers. The specific timing of when the reflected sound waves rejoin the main exhaust flow creates a one-hundred-and-eighty-degree out-of-phase sound wave that cancels out problematic frequencies. Installation Instructions

AWE's patented 180 Technology® works a little something like this: As exhaust gases exit the engine and flow into an AWE 180 Technology®-equipped resonator, they pass through strategically located ports, and into reflection chambers.

Sound waves, carried by these exhaust gasses, bounce off the walls of the reflection chambers.  Depending on the sound requirements of each vehicle, AWE acoustic engineers adjust the size and location of the ports and the chambers.  By controlling the size and location of these key elements, we also control when the sound waves exit the chambers.  The specific timing of when the reflected sound waves re-join the main exhaust flow creates a one-hundred-and-eighty-degree out-of-phase sound wave that cancels out problematic frequencies.

Lifetime Exhaust Warranty

Summary

The AWE Lifetime Exhaust Warranty on select AWE exhaust products protects against manufacturer defects.  Manufacturer defect is defined as any characteristic of the product which hinders its usability for the purpose for which it was designed and manufactured. The warranty against manufacturer defects doesn’t cover any cosmetic changes, or normal use wear and tear. All warranties cease at a product’s discontinuance. This applies only to AWE brand exhaust tubing, welding, flex areas. 

Covered: Original owner. 

Periods:

• AWE brand exhausts: Tubing, welding, flex areas: Lifetime
• Valves on exhausts: Three-years on mechanical components, one year on valve motors
• Electronics / Electronic Components found on any product: One year*
• Catalysts: One Year
• Tip finish defects (please follow washing instructions prior to contacting support): One year (see Tip Finish below)
• Intakes (all components): One year
• Filters: One year
• Intercoolers: One year
• Other: Foilers, accessories, tools, valances, drive train stabilizers, suspension components: One year
• Turbo kits/turbochargers: Not covered under warranties, special order item.

Action: Repair, replace or consult toward resolution at AWE’s discretion.

Labor: Not covered.
